About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to manage Crisis Stabilization Facility Capacity project and related crisis services. This position works closely with other business units within DMHDDSUS to identify policies and programs that promote Division goals relating to broad spectrum to behavioral health crisis system. Provides coordination for internal and external planning committee(s) for funding opportunities for crisis related services. Crisis System Grant coordination – including identification of grants and other funding opportunities, collect information on grant application and ensure timely submission, liaising with grantor during application process, coordinating press releases for grant awards with DHHS communications team. Represent Division in DHHS and other stakeholder workgroups and committees. Provides strategic consultation to behavioral health crisis system clinical deliverables in collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven Ability to Improve Service Processes Led initiatives that resulted in clear, documented improvements in service delivery, workflow efficiency, or client outcomes within a behavioral health or human services setting.
  • Strong Data Use for Decision-Making Regularly used program data to identify trends, make recommendations, and support quality improvement efforts—such as producing monthly or quarterly reports that informed leadership decisions.
  • Effective Facilitation and Training Experience Planned and facilitated recurring meetings, trainings, or learning groups with stakeholders across agencies, achieving consistent participation and positive feedback.
