About The Position

This is a great opportunity for a Master's Level Student and looking for experience while in school! Make a difference in the lives of individuals and families. Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services to individuals and families in their homes, schools, and communities. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist-In-Training, you will help clients build independence, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field required
Relevant degrees may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, and other related fields
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the community required

Responsibilities

Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services
Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills
Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners
Utilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomes
Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records
Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development
Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends
