About The Position

The Human Services Manager leads RSIC Human Services to ensure programs funded through PL 93-638 contracts and other approved grants meet objectives, compliance requirements, and community needs. This role provides operational leadership, fiscal oversight, and direct social work support across a broad service portfolio. A Typical Day Your day often starts by scanning priorities across multiple service areas-checking in with staff, reviewing time-sensitive ICWA or court-related deadlines, and confirming coverage for any urgent client needs. You'll shift between office-based leadership work and community-facing support: a quick budget check and approval of essential purchases, a partner call with county or state contacts to align services, then time set aside for documentation and required monthly/quarterly reporting. Midday may include a multidisciplinary meeting to coordinate next steps for a family or elder, followed by focused case notes and planning. When needed, you'll step into direct client support-ensuring plans are practical, timely, and respectful. Late afternoon is often for coaching staff, resolving barriers, and preparing for any after-hours emergency response that could arise.
