This position involves investigative and protective services work focused on locating non-custodial parents, establishing, enforcing, and collecting child support obligations, and establishing the paternity of children born out of wedlock. The role includes initiating administrative collection actions, pursuing appropriate court actions, and representing the Department's interest in Maine District Court regarding child support matters. The position allows for partial telework after an initial training period, subject to management approval and operational needs. It is not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions.
