About The Position

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health and make a meaningful impact in your community as a Part-Time Human Service Worker with our Stride Program in Saratoga Springs, Utah. This onsite role offers the opportunity to support children ages 5–12 as they develop the social, emotional, and behavioral skills needed to succeed at home, in school, and within their communities. As a Human Service Worker, you will help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where children can build confidence, strengthen relationships, and learn healthy coping strategies. Working alongside a dedicated team of behavioral health professionals, you will play an important role in supporting the growth and success of youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Human Service Workers in this position earn $16.49–$20.90/hour. This position will be located in Saratoga Springs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants
  • Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines
  • Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment
  • Document client interactions, progress, and observations accurately
  • Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and other team members
  • Model positive behavior and healthy coping strategies
