Tri-Mation is looking for an individual experienced in Human Resources to join their team! In this role you'll provide hands-on HR support, and help drive consistent, compliant, and employee-centered HR practices across the company. Responsibilities include day-to-day human resource operations, recruitment and retention, training, compensation and benefit administration, handbook policies and procedures, employee relations, workers' compensation and OSHA reporting, apprentice program, employee communications, teambuilding, succession planning, and organization development. This position reports to the President. The ideal candidate should have: 1) human resource generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; 2) ability to be collaborative, proactive and results oriented; 3) strong communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization; 4) strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices; 5) awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance; 6) strong understanding of personnel and compliance records management;7) strong analytical and problem solving skills; 8) ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism; 8) proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook); 9) experience with HRMS/HRIS systems. Other experience and education that are good to have include but not required: 1) Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; 2) SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR. To be successful at Tri-Mation you need to have demonstrated skills as an active team player to support, accept responsibility and collaborate with the team; effective skills in interpersonal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, empathy, and building relationships; and use of independent judgment, creativity, and initiative.
