About The Position

The Human Resources Support Specialist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, including filing, managing the UKG Learning System, assisting the Human Resources Director, and auditing employee files. This is an entry-level position for a candidate passionate about learning and growing in the Human Resources field. The role involves handling orientation packets, filing orientation documents, and presenting orientation on a rotating basis. The specialist is responsible for maintaining, updating, and auditing online learning systems such as UKG, which includes assessing training needs and assigning appropriate staff and new hires to training classes. They will also ensure the timely and accurate completion of all training documentation, including certificates and management of personnel files. Key responsibilities include auditing employee files for completion at the start date, 30 days, and 90 days, as well as conducting 90-day training audits. The role also involves updating and maintaining the employee recognition program database (Snappy), creating flyers and presentation materials using Canva for social media promotion, managing the employee badge system, and coordinating employee swag for events. The Human Resources Support Specialist will assist the Hiring Coordinator in recruiting events and efforts and complete special projects assigned by the Director of Human Resources. Requirements

  • Knowledge of organizational structures and relevant job duties common within the organization
  • Ability to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining confidentially
  • Experience in human resources, administrative or customer service

Responsibilities
