About The Position

The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations and supervising HR staff while serving as a key partner to management and employees. This role ensures consistent execution of HR programs including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition support, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management. The HR Supervisor acts as a knowledgeable resource for HR policies and employment practices and supports the implementation of strategic HR initiatives at the site or departmental level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or fast-paced environment is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Human Resources certification preferred, such as SHRM‑CP, PHR, or equivalent
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Prior experience supervising HR staff or leading HR functions strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and guides HR staff to ensure effective execution of daily HR operations, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and interpretation of company policies.
  • Partners with managers and supervisors to support performance management, employee development, and disciplinary processes.
  • Supports recruiting and staffing activities, including job postings, interview coordination, selection support, and hiring documentation.
  • Coordinates with external staffing agencies to align headcount requirements, communicate company expectations and compliance standards, and review agency performance to ensure workforce needs are met effectively.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive and compliant new‑hire experience.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential personnel records, ensuring compliance with company policy and record‑retention requirements.
  • Assists with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee inquiries regarding benefit programs.
  • Supports payroll-related inquiries and partners with payroll teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; supports audits and compliance reporting as needed.
  • Assists with the development, communication, and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Coordinates and supports training initiatives, including compliance training, leadership development, and employee development programs.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review as requested.
  • Participates in employee engagement initiatives and activities focused on retention, morale, and workplace culture.
  • Collaborates with site leadership and cross‑functional teams to support HR initiatives and business objectives.
  • Stays informed of HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve HR effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the Human Resources function and organizational objectives.
