This position is a 100% remote work arrangement, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. This temporary position supports the Employment & Staffing team by coordinating and facilitating employee offboarding activities. The position serves as a liaison to support integrated work processes and ensure compliant and customer-focused offboarding experiences for employees and stakeholders. Responsibilities include scheduling and conducting employee offboarding sessions, coordinating outplacement services, processing and maintaining offboarding-related documentation, and performing data entry to ensure accurate employee records. Additional responsibilities include filing documents and maintaining electronic records in accordance with State records retention requirements. The position supports audit and compliance activities by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of offboarding records and documentation. The position collaborates with internal and external customers to understand their needs and deliver services that support organizational goals and objectives. This position is expected to uphold the department’s core values and provide professional, responsive service to all stakeholders throughout the offboarding process.
