Requirements

  • Genuine passion for helping people, solving problems, and providing thoughtful follow-up with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal (email and phone).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys supporting HR leaders and contributing as a key, trusted member of a collaborative team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with ADP preferred.
  • One to two years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or Administrative Assistant, supporting a high-volume or fast-paced department.

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HR team and property leadership to support day-to-day HR functions, including new hire orientation, onboarding, supply ordering, interview scheduling, and HR appointments.
  • Manage HR supplies, filing systems, and electronic records; process anniversary and bereavement gifts; track licenses and certifications; schedule CPR/First Aid training; and process retention and referral bonuses.
  • Facilitate Discovery Day One colleague orientation and follow-up onboarding experiences, including new hire paperwork, I-9 processing, drug screenings, phone screenings, and interview coordination.
  • Assist in planning and executing colleague engagement and recognition initiatives such as Family Night, Stars of the Ranch Recognition Program, and other annual events.
  • Serve as a point of contact for colleague questions related to timekeeping, employee systems access, direct deposit updates, and basic benefits information.
  • Submit workers’ compensation claims, coordinate leave of absence processes, communicate with colleagues, and provide timely updates to the HR Director and leadership team.
