The Human Resources (HR) Specialist is responsible for supporting Valor’s workforce needs primarily through the talent acquisition process/full life cycle recruitment, including preparing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, communicating/contacting, interviewing and selecting, extending offers with negotiations and contingency requirements, and gainfully onboarding the new hire. The ideal candidate must be committed to objectively attracting, supporting, and retaining employees while ensuring the organization remains compliant with employment laws and maintains a positive and professional workplace culture. This role will also assist with employee relations, benefits administration, training, compliance, and implementing HR policies in a pleasant and cordial manner. This position requires use of information and data which is subject to US Export Regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. 120 et seq., and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. 730 et seq. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S Government.
