About The Position

This role focuses on maintaining and processing employee data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Responsibilities include managing key new hire information, personnel changes, payroll updates, direct deposits, and employment status changes. The specialist will also coordinate payroll change reporting, support onboarding activities, administer employment eligibility verification (I-9) compliance, and monitor employee licenses, certifications, and required training completion. Additionally, the role involves generating various HR reports, maintaining performance review records, coordinating employee separation processes, and responding to HRIS, payroll, and employment-related inquiries. The specialist will also provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience or 5 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
