Human Resources Specialist-Provider & For-Profit Services
About The Position
The HR Specialist – Provider & For-Profit Services serves as the primary HR resource for providers and Mission Partners within for-profit services. This role manages all provider-related HR transactions, ensures the accuracy of HR data, and supports total rewards guidance with a high level of service excellence. The Specialist leads cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex issues, coordinates key annual provider processes, and identifies opportunities to improve workflows that impact the provider and for-profit experience. This position requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to navigate issues without a dedicated center of expertise, relying instead on partnership with HR, operational leaders, and support teams across the Ministry.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Ability to navigate complex issues with minimal direction.
- Strong critical thinking and root-cause analysis skills.

- Experience managing HR data within an HRIS system.
- Previous benefits administration experience.
- Experience supporting providers, physicians, residents, or advanced practice clinicians.
- Experience working in a healthcare HR environment.
