This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the HR operational backbone of our college, serving as a key liaison between department partners and the University of Florida Human Resources (UFHR) transaction approvers. As an HR Specialist II, you’ll play an integral role as a member of our Transaction Center, reviewing and approving a variety of employment, position, and recruitment transactions while ensuring compliance with university and college policies and procedures. You’ll also manage essential faculty, staff, and trainee data, conduct audits, and generate reports to support strategic decision-making. This position provides an excellent foundation for career growth, offering insight and experience in a wide range of HR functions while allowing you to learn from and collaborate with experts in the field. You will join a collaborative team of HR professionals, including business partners and specialists in benefits, employee relations, graduate programs, immigration, and department partners.
