About The Position

The Human Resources Site Coordinator serves as the primary contact for employment, recruitment/retention, employee relations, and compensation needs for the Erlanger Bledsoe Campus and Erlanger Sequatchie Valley Campus. This role manages the full life cycle of recruiting, from job posting to pre-boarding, ensuring candidates meet Erlanger Health's standards. The coordinator develops and executes recruitment plans, sources diverse talent, and builds relationships with key leaders to understand business needs. They provide guidance to hiring managers on selection decisions, manage the screening and interviewing process, and negotiate salary offers. The position also supports hiring events, manages the pre-boarding process, and contributes to process improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role involves coordinating new employee orientation, acting as a community liaison, providing guidance on employee relations issues, assisting with leave of absence and discipline processes, managing Kronos functions, and handling new employee in-processing, including background checks and pre-employment searches. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining records, acting as an HR representative for surveys, and ensuring a positive customer service experience for all internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Two years of administrative experience in a Human Resources setting or equivalent college education.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field (required after 3/7/18).
  • Knowledge of career site and application mechanics.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Positively demonstrates and promotes team spirit.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of recruiting experience, or business operations leadership experience which includes responsibility for managing complex hiring processes, or a combination of experience and relevant education.
  • One year of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist on the Human Resources team managing complex hiring and on-boarding processes (for current Erlanger Health Human Resources team members).
  • Healthcare Human Resources experience.
  • Employment branding or employment marketing experience.
  • PeopleSoft and Taleo experience.
  • National Association for Health Care Recruitment Certified Healthcare Recruiter.
  • Society for Human Resource Management CP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Human Resources function for the Erlanger Bledsoe Campus and Erlanger Sequatchie Valley Campus.
  • Manages full life cycle recruiting for assigned areas, from initial posting of job requisitions through completion of all steps in the hiring and pre-boarding process.
  • Follows recruitment and marketing plans to source the most qualified talent for Erlanger Health.
  • Advises and assists hiring managers with selection decisions.
  • Presents and negotiates salary offers with selected candidates.
  • Executes recruiting plans to source well-qualified and diverse candidates from a variety of sources.
  • Develops relationships with key leaders and understands the business and recruiting needs of assigned areas, including forecasting and new program development.
  • Uses data to guide decision making.
  • Provides counsel to hiring managers in all areas of talent acquisition.
  • Manages selection process to include screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.
  • Creates and extends job offers to internal and external candidates.
  • Handles all aspects of offer negotiation.
  • Supports virtual and in-person hiring events.
  • Works closely with other TA and HR team members to adhere to pre-boarding practices.
  • Manages pre-boarding process for selected candidates and participates in process improvement work.
  • Ensures all pieces of the hiring and on-boarding processes are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provides consistent customer service experience to internal and external customers.
  • Conducts interviews as needed.
  • Coordinates New Employee Orientation/Follow-Up with Organizational Development.
  • Acts as community liaison at job fairs and other community events.
  • Provides guidance to employees and managers with varying issues in conjunction with Erlanger Health Employee Relations Department.
  • Assists with Leave of Absence Requests and discipline and grievance processes.
  • Assists with employee needs for the Bledsoe/SVED sites.
  • Responsible for Kronos functions for the Bledsoe/Sequatchie Valley Campus including approving data for the Dept. Managers.
  • In-processing of all new employees for the Bledsoe/SVED Campus including entry of new hire information and maintenance of current employee information into the Peoplesoft/Applicant Tracking systems.
  • Responsible for securing criminal background checks on all employees.
  • Responsible for pre-employment searches to include but not limited to: EPLS, OIG, Abuse Registry.
  • Assists with the processing of employee injury for Erlanger Bledsoe/Sequatchie Valley employees as needed.
  • Coordinates employee anniversary recognition programs and special events for Bledsoe Campus/Sequatchie Valley Campus.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of up-to-date job descriptions.
  • Maintains all necessary records and reports in an orderly manner.
  • Acts as Human Resources representative for Bledsoe Campus/Sequatchie Valley Campus for all State Surveys, DNV Surveys, and CAP Surveys.
  • Responds to questions about the hiring and orientation process from managers and candidates.
  • Schedules pre-employment physicals and ensures results are acceptable.
  • Orders background screens and ensures results are received and reviewed.
  • Ensures candidate completes on-boarding portal on time and assists with questions.
  • Ensures all on-boarding deadlines are met.
  • Works with Organizational Development to ensure all orientees and the TA team are prepared for New Associate Orientation.
  • Assists with the I-9 process for orientation groups.
  • Understands the badging process.
  • Prepares Sign on bonus agreements as necessary.
  • Registration and coordination of recruiting events.
  • Attends career fairs/recruiting events.
