About The Position

Arrowmark LLC is seeking a Human Resources & Safety Generalist to join our Team. Must enjoy a fast paced environment and staying busy. This position serves as a hands-on representative of the Human Resources / Safety Department and supports a variety of HR and Safety functions. Experience in HRIS conversions is a plus. All employees at Arrowmark must obtain OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification. Arrowmark covers the cost of the certification, which must be completed during orientation.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in a human resources role
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable of payroll and HR related legal requirements
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required
  • A high level of Microsoft Suite experience, specifically in Excel is required
  • 2+ years experience processing payroll, experience and knowledgeable about payroll laws, regs, garnishments, Davis Bacon, payroll conversions, etc.,
  • 2-5 years experience working in a HRIS
  • Demonstrates integrity, has the ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality, flexibility, sound judgment, strong intuitive skills, and be results driven
  • Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • This position is considered a safety-sensitive position and is subject to the company's drug and alcohol policy, as well as all OSHA regulations.
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties and functions of the job.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR Certification desired
  • Experience in HRIS conversions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with Recruiting and Onboarding/Offboarding
  • Promotes a positive workplace culture and addresses any issues related to employee morale and well-being.
  • Assists with all benefits including new hire and open enrollment.
  • Handles day-to-day HR & Safety administrative tasks, such as processing paperwork, maintaining HR databases, managing personnel files, scanning, filing, meeting minutes etc.,
  • Handles all aspects of payroll and processes weekly payroll under guidance of the Director, HR & Safety including wage garnishments, Davis Bacon reporting, timekeeping and time off.
  • Completes payroll reporting, analysis when necessary, and responsible for quality assurance with the payroll process.
  • Assists and completes all monthly and end of the year functions and reporting related to HR & Safety
  • Provides required reports to other departments when needed such as 401k reporting, payroll audits, etc.
  • Supports the Director, HR & Safety and assists with HR and Safety projects and initiatives as necessary.
  • Travel to complete errands, visit job-sites and other company locations on occasion.
  • Contributes and promotes all safety policies, procedures, and practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
