About The Position

The Human Resources Professional is responsible for administering payroll and benefits, employee trainings, handling employee information maintenance and other related functions.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of HR work experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ADP & ERP or other HRIS system to maintain employee data preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field
  • Bilingual in English and Korean
  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Benefits
  • Process semi-monthly payroll, and any interim process
  • Audits payroll entries for discrepancies and errors
  • Prepare and submit journal entries
  • Manage year-end payroll process and payroll related government reporting
  • Ensure the benefit plans (401K, Health insurance, etc.) of the company are administered in compliance with the Plan document and with the regulations
  • Coordinate 401K committee meetings with committee members and 401K advisors as needed
  • Assist employees with inquires and issues related to payroll & benefit
  • New Hire and Termination
  • Manage, coordinate and conduct new hire orientations
  • Assist termination process
  • Conduct employee exit interviews & prepare last paycheck
  • Employee information maintenance
  • Input and maintain employee records (new hire, transfer, personnel & payroll data updates, termination) with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Prepare monthly and other HR related reports as assigned
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned
