About The Position

The Human Resources Operations Coordinator at Golden Bolt is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, working closely with senior HR management and reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager. This position carries out responsibilities in functional areas such as benefits administration via HRIS system, payroll functions, employee relations, labor relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, risk management, safety program development and implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance. This role requires an extremely perceptive person capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization, sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and business needs.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of PPE, IIPP and other safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours for special events and when necessary
  • Consistent attendance and adhering to work schedule and attendance policy
  • Ability to drive is an essential function of the role-Required Motor Vehicle Report

Responsibilities

  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the HR Manager and Sr. management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and safety complaints.
  • Facilitates or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce.
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
  • Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level to mid-level, professional and technical job openings.
  • Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements.
  • Represents management in investigating, answering and settling grievances, by arranging and scheduling grievance interviews with all parties involved.
  • Conducts new-hire orientations
  • Driving for company related business
