About The Position

Make a difference behind the scenes of a lifesaving mission. Shepeard Community Blood Center is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all areas of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, training, and employee engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Human Resources or Business-related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR management role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, benefits, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Multi-site HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
• Lead employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, FMLA, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee training, leadership development, and workforce planning.
• Track and analyze HR metrics, retention, and turnover trends.
• Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement and recognition programs.
