About The Position

The Human Resources Manager will design and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and support business growth. The role involves evaluating workforce needs and recommending innovative solutions to improve organizational effectiveness. In this position, you will partner with leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and succession planning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of HR leadership experience overseeing all major HR functions for an organization of 100+ employees.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, payroll administration, compensation practices, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, payroll platforms, reporting tools, and workforce analytics.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract top talent and strengthen the organization's employer brand.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and staffing agencies to enhance candidate pipelines.
  • Create and maintain recruitment and onboarding best practices, ensuring a positive employee experience from hire through retirement.
  • Partner with leaders to design, implement, and improve performance management programs.
  • Analyze performance trends and workforce data to identify development opportunities and succession planning needs.
  • Support employee growth through coaching, development planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Leverage HR technology and workforce analytics to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee compensation programs to ensure competitiveness, equity, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage salary structures, union compensation programs, and compensation administration processes.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to evaluate and administer employee benefits programs.
  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Maintain and strengthen payroll controls and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and leadership teams to support risk mitigation efforts and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify trends.
  • Maintain HR dashboards and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Utilize workforce data to drive strategic planning and support organizational decision-making.
