About The Position

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the administration of Human Resource programs involving compensation, rewards, corporate assessments, policy management, and general administration. This role also administers recruitment, screening, and hiring programs for all center staff, monitors personnel and employment practices for compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and oversees the Center's worker’s compensation and OSHA programs. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager develops and implements effective new hire orientation, staff development, and training programs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
  • Skilled in policy administration, compensation, and rewards management.
  • Must be able to conduct data analysis relating to human resources metrics.
  • Ability to compose descriptive reports; use appropriate techniques to implement programmatic activities; verbally direct individuals and groups; remedy dysfunctional behavior; intervene with students in crisis with aggression control/ safe physical management restraint techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Three years Human Resources experience required preferred.
  • Labor relations experience and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
