As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a strategic business partner to plant and operational leadership while leading the day-to-day HR function for your assigned location(s). You will provide guidance and support across all areas of Human Resources, ensuring our people strategies align with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • At least 3 years of HR leadership or HR Manager experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Leadership.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Predictive Index (PI).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute workforce strategies that support operational goals.
  • Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead workplace investigations and ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
  • Support recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Facilitate performance review processes, performance improvement plans, and leadership coaching.
  • Support compensation planning, salary administration, and annual merit review processes.
  • Analyze HR metrics, including turnover, retention, staffing, absenteeism, and engagement, to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Partner with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Operations to promote a safe and productive work environment.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects supporting organizational growth, acquisitions, process improvements, and change management.
