About The Position

PAM Health is opening a new hospital in Fall 2026 and is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager. This role offers competitive rates and a comprehensive benefits package. The position involves serving as a resource for management and an employee champion, assessing and anticipating HR-related needs, and partnering across the organization to deliver value-added services. The HR Manager will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of HR policies, programs, and practices within the assigned hospital(s). This role is the primary human resource professional at the hospital level, acting as the face of HR in the hospital and community. The HR Manager is accountable for planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and managing complex human resource interventions to support the facility's goals. Responsibilities include diversified assignments in benefits, compensation, employment, employee development, employee relations, federal and state employment regulations, hiring, firing, disciplinary matters, and other related activities. The role requires regular exercise of independent judgment and discretion in overseeing human resources functions and making significant HR decisions or recommendations.

Requirements

  • Three to five years related experience with progressive responsibilities within the human resource function required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Extensive related HR experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR Certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for management and an employee champion.
  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs and formulate partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization, meets the needs to the people, and builds on the culture.
  • Responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of HR policies, programs, and practices within the assigned hospital(s).
  • Serve as the face of HR at the hospital level and in the community.
  • Primarily accountable for planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating and managing various complex human resource interventions to assist their assigned facility/facilities in the achievement of its goals.
  • Handle diversified assignments in the areas of benefits, compensation, employment, employee development, employee relations, federal and state employment regulations, hiring, firing, and other disciplinary matters, and other related activities.
  • Regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion relative to overseeing the entirety of the human resources functions in the assigned facility/facilities.
  • Make all significant human resource decisions within the facility, or provide direct recommendations to the facility CEO and/or corporate HR in conjunction with those determinations.
