The Human Resources Manager is a key leadership role in the plant. Every department works with this role to drive safety, quality and production. This role is a change agent in the plant. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Rensselaer, IN facility. Role Responsibilities: Lead HR support at a large distribution center. Responsible for developing and implementing employee relations practices and strategies, including the following: employee engagement, wage and salary administration, selection and staffing, orientation and training, organizational development, performance management succession planning and conflict resolution. Influence, coach and provide guidance to the plant leadership team and employees regarding HR practices, policies and procedures. Demonstrate a growth mindset that understands the organization’s goals and strategies; can effectively translate this direction into strategic and operational people practices. Partner with Operations leadership and other key stakeholders to drive HR and operational strategies. Responsible for leading investigations and proposing any related corrective action. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for the entire site. Lead HR-related projects and initiatives both within the site and the broader HR Organization. Manage a team of one HR professional.
