About The Position

The Ricardo Hotel Marriott is hiring for a Human Resources Manager. This role involves leading the day-to-day Human Resources function for the hotel and serving as a trusted resource to leaders and team members. The ideal candidate believes that great hospitality starts with great people and that Human Resources is about creating an environment where people feel supported, respected, and valued. Strong leaders build strong teams through clear expectations, meaningful communication, and consistent follow-through. The best employee experiences ultimately create the best guest experiences, and every team member deserves a workplace where they can learn, grow, contribute, and feel a sense of belonging. HR should be approachable, responsive, and connected to the day-to-day operation of the hotel, and sometimes the most important HR work happens in the moments when a team member simply needs someone to listen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Previous experience supporting employee relations, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, and compliance required.
  • Hotel, resort, or hospitality HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations practices, documentation, and workplace investigations.
  • Ability to coach and support leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the hotel leadership team.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.
