About The Position

We are seeking an Human Resources Manager (Business Partner) to join our DVCH HR team. This role serves as a hands-on HR leader and trusted business partner to site leadership, translating business needs into practical people solutions. This role provides leadership and direction across the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment and retention, employee relations and risk mitigation, unemployment compensation, performance management, HR systems, and organizational development. This role manages HR staff, serves as a key advisor to leadership, and ensures that HR policies and practices align with DVCH’s mission, culture, and compliance requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of HR experience required.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR certification required.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, coaching, and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (Paylocity preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to see the big picture while guiding the employee experience with fairness and compassion.
  • Ability to sit or remain stationary for extended periods while performing computer-based work.
  • Ability to respond promptly to in-person or electronic requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel between DVCH sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or nonprofit setting HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Spanish language skills preferred.
