About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a premier casino entertainment company in the United States. We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to assist the Human Resources Director in all aspects of Human Resources management. This role involves managing and providing input regarding employee relations, employment, training, and benefit activities. The ideal candidate will ensure all departments are supported through the development and implementation of new procedures for the effective operation of the Human Resources department. This position will also administer and communicate Company policies, procedures, and programs, and review and advise management staff on matters dealing with performance and conduct issues, employee relations, including labor issues. Promoting effective communication between employees and management, maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, and coordinating activities to meet training needs are also key responsibilities. All other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Knowledgeable of HR concepts, policies and procedures, with clear understanding of legal compliance requirements, and employment laws.
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications and computer skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Three (3) years of Human Resources experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Human Resources Director in all aspects of Human Resources management.
