About The Position

The Human Resources Manager serves as Cloeren Incorporated's HR Business Partner, operating under the MAAG and Dover structure. This role involves collaborating with business leaders to address significant people and cultural issues, providing expertise in technical and regulatory employment aspects, enabling business change, talent integration, and developing recruiting strategies. The position encompasses all facets of human resource management, including employee relations, recruitment and selection, training, performance management, FMLA, ADA, EEO, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, HRIS, workers compensation, record keeping, and policy implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years human resources business partner experience
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Experience delivering training, employee orientation or similar experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with human resources information systems (HRIS); preferably with Workday and ADP
  • Experience with analyzing data for reporting and guiding strategic employment planning
  • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations with appropriate discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic environment
  • Efficient and thorough record-keeping and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with ability to problem solve; anticipate and avoid issues
  • Clear, concise and articulate communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presenting
  • Integrative mindset that allows for effective planning and development of strategic goals

  • Mastery of English

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Spanish (or) Vietnamese Language as Secondary Language

Responsibilities

  • Understands and executes the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Executes full life cycle of HR processes including onboarding, administration of changes, employee improvement processes, and off-boarding procedures following MAAG and Dover guidelines.
  • Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Builds relationships with local agencies, schools, or government agencies to source talent for open positions.
  • Manages employee engagement programs and works collectively to improve overall employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business needs for the job site supported, in conjunction with the HR Team.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements, job descriptions, job codes, and compensation details for all positions.
  • Assists in developing training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Ensures that all company HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Bridges management and employee relations by addressing concerns timely and effectively.
  • Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions or issues arise.
  • Maintains HR systems and processes.
  • Conducts and analyzes exit interviews and makes actionable recommendations based on data.
  • Constructs monthly reports for finance and leadership.
  • Considers all interests of quality, accident prevention, occupational safety, and environmental safety in a preventive manner within his/her scope of responsibility and actively supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material, and the environment.
  • Performs tasks requested by management that relate to his/her position scope or arise from company needs.
