Requirements

Knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations

A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, providing them guidance on everything from day to day questions to complex employee relations matters
Support the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, retention, and employee exits
Support our employee leave programs, ensuring employees receive appropriate support and guidance while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and company policies
Partner with managers on employee performance, coaching, and other workplace activities
Support our Payroll team to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
Provide insight to our benefits programs, making recommendations when appropriate
Partner with brokers and insurance carriers to resolve issues and administer employee benefits programs
Prepare required government and regulatory reporting
Develop, review, and improve HR policy and procedures
Create, maintain, and update job descriptions and other HR reference materials
Stay current on employment laws and regulations
Provide general HR support and contribute to special projects and initiatives that improve the employee experience
Continue to develop your HR expertise and complete your SHRM certification if not already completed
