About The Position

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a productive, compliant, and positive workplace environment within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and affirmative action policies. By effectively managing disciplinary procedures and human resources policies, the HR Manager supports both employee satisfaction and organizational performance. Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year hotel or human resources experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of State employment laws, labor regulations, and affirmative action requirements.
  • Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor affirmative action plans to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, ensuring accuracy and employee understanding.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and conducting investigations when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations by updating policies and conducting regular audits.
  • Oversee disciplinary procedures, including documentation, counseling, and performance improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and enforce human resources policies that support organizational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports related to workforce metrics and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • Lead HR operations to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the department.
