About The Position

Our client, a growing technology manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and strengthen the HR function across the business. This is a highly visible leadership role that offers the opportunity to build scalable HR processes, drive compliance initiatives, and partner closely with executive leadership in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and serving as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership alike. This position will have broad responsibility across benefits, employee relations, compliance, onboarding, performance management, HR systems, and organizational development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership-level responsibilities.
  • Strong background in benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Demonstrated success building structure and improving HR processes within a growing organization.
  • Experience managing HRIS systems and HR-related reporting.
  • Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and maintain a strong presence across both office and manufacturing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, technology manufacturing, life sciences, or related industry experience.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience with Epicor, Trainual, or similar HR and training management platforms.
  • Recruiting and talent acquisition support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of HR operations and serve as the primary HR resource for the organization.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) administration.
  • Oversee leave of absence programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding programs to create a positive new hire experience.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
  • Drive HR compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations across multiple states.
  • Manage employee relations matters, providing coaching, guidance, and conflict resolution support to managers and employees.
  • Lead performance management processes, including annual reviews, performance improvement initiatives, and talent development programs.
  • Optimize HRIS functionality, reporting capabilities, and HR data management practices.
  • Support recruiting activities, including interview coordination, candidate documentation, and hiring process administration.
  • Oversee employee training programs and compliance tracking through learning management platforms.
  • Partner closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and foster a positive, accountable workplace culture.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR programs, processes, and systems to support organizational growth.
