About The Position

At Buddy Brew Coffee, we believe great coffee starts with great people. Were looking for a Human Resources Manager who loves building teams, strengthening culture, and creating systems that help people thrive. This role is both strategic and hands-onperfect for someone who can zoom out to see the big picture and jump in when the Brew Crew needs support. As our Human Resources Manager, youll serve as a trusted partner to leadership and a champion for our team members across cafs, production, and corporate operations.

Requirements

• 35+ years of HR experience, ideally in hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or multi-location environments
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Excellent communication skillsclear, kind, and confident
• High emotional intelligence with a genuine love for people
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable building processes
• Ability to balance empathy with accountability

Nice To Haves

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture aligned with Buddy Brews mission
• Act as a go-to resource for employees and leaders on HR-related questions and support
• Support employee engagement, retention, and development initiatives
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
• Partner with managers to ensure the right people are in the right roles
• Support performance management, coaching, and professional development
• Manage HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates
• Ensure compliance with federal, state (Florida), and local employment laws
• Oversee benefits administration, workers compensation, and leave management
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
• Coach managers on best practices for leadership, communication, and accountability
• Assist with conflict resolution, employee relations, and corrective action when needed
• Provide HR insights and recommendations to support business growth
