About The Position

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible to manage, coach, and evaluate the performance of multiple human resources team members. The ability to analyze, delegate and follow through on responsibilities within the department is an important and necessary skill set for the department Manager. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of human resources and the laws, regulations, and government reporting requirements associated with large employers. The Human Resources Manager will be required to analyze data and provide regular reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will assist with developing and administering companywide human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, employee relations, benefits, labor relations, training, and health and safety. This position will have a strong emphasis on employee relations, including overseeing and providing guidance on employee coaching, corrective action, unemployment, and escalated employee complaints.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR or equivalent experience in management required.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborates with management and leadership team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources and the laws, regulations, and government reporting requirements associated with large employers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Effective and proficient communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Familiar with and understands Company’s processes and procedures.
  • Experience leading a team to achieve a common goal.
  • Proficient with and enjoy detailed work.
  • Coachable and willing to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, preferred.
  • College degree in a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and evaluate the performance of multiple human resources team members.
  • Analyze data and provide regular reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager.
  • Assist with developing and administering companywide human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, employee relations, benefits, labor relations, training, and health and safety.
  • Oversee and provide guidance on employee coaching, corrective action, unemployment, and escalated employee complaints.
  • Work without direct supervision.
  • Work well with others and coordinate activities with other departments and locations within the company.
  • Sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Stoop, bend, and reach above the head and below the knees to file and retrieve data.
  • Travel for multiple days at a time.
  • Work, as necessary, 15 percent or more as overtime hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
