This position is responsible for: The Human Resources Manager acts as a Business Partner and oversees all human resources functions for the Command, including recruitment, employment, benefits, leave management, employee relations, and management performance assessment. They are responsible for the daily administration of programs and HR activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and established policies and procedures. The manager demonstrates strong listening and comprehension skills and builds effective working relationships across all departments of the Command and division to help develop staff solutions that adapt to changing business and staffing needs. Additionally, they serve as the liaison to the Divisional Human Resources Director to ensure adherence to approved personnel recordkeeping and HR practices.
