About The Position

Performs complex administrative work leading the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, establishing a high level of operational efficiency and service quality. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Human Resources Director (“supervisor”). Continuous supervision is exercised over assigned personnel.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with coursework in business or public administration, human resources management, or related field
Five (5) or more years of increasingly responsible human resources experience
Two (2) years in a lead or supervisory role
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Prior public sector human resources experience.
Prior experience working with labor unions.
Highly skilled at conducting complex employment investigations
In depth knowledge of leaves of absences and worker’s compensation administration.
