About The Position

Sodexo Live's! Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team with our new client, with lounges throughout the West Coast and Hawaii. This role will be based in Seattle, WA with expected 30% - 40% travel to other locations. This Human Resources Manager will have an office onsite as well as working remote, in a hybrid capacity. You will provide administrative HR support to the Sodexo food and beverage teams who operate the business lounges in the region. Role reports to a Human Resources Business Partner, and will work directly with on-site managers and a staff of 150 - 200 employees. Bilingual Spanish preferred for this role.

Requirements

  • Must have proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
  • Understanding of federal labor laws.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years in HR

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred for this role.
  • Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or travel industry preferred.
  • Understanding and knowledge of union environments and labor relations.
  • The ideal candidate is a team player, with high attention to detail, proactive mindset and has excellent communication & interpersonal skills to interact with employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee airport badging process for new hires
  • Support new hire orientation facilitation, set-up and logistics
  • Onboarding
  • Run compliance reports
  • Maintain and distribute employee training/communications
  • Assist with career fairs and hiring events/recruitment
  • Share employee benefits information with new hires and direct them accordingly
  • Complete I-9 forms and other employee file documentation
  • Set up employee direct deposits
  • Engage with potential candidates and represent Sodexo as an employer of choice
  • Collect union statements/corrective actions for Senior Human Resources Manager
  • Address payroll issues as they arise.
  • Function as the HR liaison between operations and senior HR.
  • Complete other administrative projects as assigned.
