Requirements

  • Must have completed two years of full-time study at an accredited college or university in a health-related field; or meet the qualifications per TAC 558.244 (a)(1)(A) or (B).
  • Must comply with Training in Administration of Agencies under Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 558.
  • 2+ years of HR experience—preferably in home care, hospice, or another healthcare setting
  • Fluency with HRIS / ATS platforms (CareerPlug, ClearCare/WellSky, or similar) and solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Confident presenter who can engage small groups and communicate policy in plain language

Responsibilities

  • Own the Recruiting Pipeline Write keyword-rich job posts, screen resumes, interview candidates, and deliver hire/no-hire recommendations.
  • Lead new-hire onboarding weekly; ensure caregivers meet background checks, NAR/EMR, driver license eligibility, and conduct MVR checks.
  • Rotate on-call (every three weeks) to resolve urgent caregiver or client concerns after hours.
  • Keep Us Audit-Ready Maintain spotless digital and paper personnel files for DOL, HCSSA, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Drive Data & Reporting Produce monthly new-hire and turnover dashboards; translate trends into actionable insights for the Administrator
  • Present mini-trainings to office staff and field caregivers—topics from “Infection-Control Updates” to “Conflict Resolution 101.”
