About The Position

The Bilingual Human Resources Manager will lead and build the internal HR function for a growing organization. This role oversees employee relations, recruiting, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR process development while serving as a strategic partner to leadership. The position is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with 5+ years of progressive experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of progressive human resources experience with responsibility across multiple HR disciplines, not limited to recruiting or administration.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate policies, explain benefits, support employees, coach managers, and handle sensitive employee relations matters in both languages.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including employee relations, benefits administration, leave processes, accommodations, workplace documentation, and HR compliance.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations matters such as complaints, conflict resolution, performance concerns, corrective action, and workplace investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop or improve HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, workflows, and internal controls.
  • Ability to operate effectively as a stand-alone HR leader or within a lean HR team, balancing strategic initiatives with daily employee support.
  • Experience implementing, administering, or optimizing an HRIS or related HR technology platform.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills when handling sensitive HR issues and complex employment situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling employee information and HR records.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and a solutions-oriented approach to HR challenges.
  • Experience transitioning HR functions from a professional employer organization (PEO) to an internally managed HR department.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • HRIS implementation or administration experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, engineering, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the internal HR function for a growing organization.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive and departmental leadership on HR matters, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee employee relations, including handling complaints, conflict resolution, performance concerns, corrective actions, and workplace investigations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding to support organizational growth.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including communication of benefits, enrollment support, and coordination of leave processes and accommodations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices, including documentation and internal controls.
  • Develop, update, and improve HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, workflows, and HR-related documentation.
  • Implement, administer, or optimize HRIS or related HR technology platforms to improve HR processes and data accuracy.
  • Balance strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day employee support in a hands-on role, operating effectively as a stand-alone HR leader or within a lean HR team.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Partner with leadership to influence company culture, employee engagement, and overall employee experience.
  • Support or contribute to compensation benchmarking, organizational development, succession planning, and workforce analytics as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with leaders and employees across the organization to foster a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and benefits clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish, ensuring understanding across the workforce.
