As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, supporting organizational goals, and driving HR initiatives that foster engagement, compliance, and operational excellence. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization's human resources functions throughout the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, leave administration, talent acquisition, and workforce planning. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing strategic and hands-on HR support while ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2–3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and recruiting.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Working knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting HR data and metrics to support business decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related technologies.

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other HR-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, NLRA, Title VII, and other applicable labor laws.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.
  • Support and coach leaders on employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with HR leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives and workforce needs.
  • Oversee leave administration, accommodations, and employee benefits programs.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends, including turnover, retention, employee engagement, and workforce demographics, to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, inclusion, accountability, and retention.
  • Assist with compensation planning, policy development, organizational changes, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent for the organization.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify current and future staffing needs and develop effective workforce plans.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting tools, and market data to optimize hiring processes and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, and candidate experience.
  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at networking, career fair, and recruiting events.
