About The Position

This position will be responsible for administrative functions that focus primarily on staffing and human resources related responsibilities. The Human Resources Junior Recruiter will assist the Human Resources Recruiter and Senior Recruiter in the recruitment life cycle including job postings and screening and selection process to place qualified candidates in IU job openings. Responsible for communication and collaboration with staff, supervisors, school districts and staffing agencies. Responsibilities will include a variety of tasks; such tasks are not limited to administrative staffing duties just within the HR Department. Essential Functions: Generate Personnel Action Forms (PAFs), including processing and monitoring of paperwork for hiring and staffing processes, resignations, and retirements. Handle job requisition management including creating job templates and posting new and replacement positions. Work with recruiter on sourcing plan for job openings especially hard to fill positions. Manage scheduling of all candidate interviews, working with recruiter, supervisor and candidates to ensure a seamless process Assist in posting job openings on recruitment applications, both, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues. Maintain posting jobs on-line through all job sites Assist and participates in all hiring events and job fairs Maintain and update interview questionnaire library for all positions in Oracle Recruitment Cloud (ORC). Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system (ORC). Assist in interviewing candidates when needed Conduct prescreening interviews if applicable Assist in coordinating contracting agency relationships with school age and early childhood programs. Assist in the recruitment, assignment, and onboarding of all contractors within these programs Assist in new employee/contractor orientation, onboarding, acclimating new employees to the policies, procedures, and other regulations of the special education department Track and monitor staff assignments Assist with analyzing and identification of program needs and staffing trends and worker verification reports Provide support to stakeholder groups regarding day to day staffing of special education programs Assist in extending offers Assist with all ESY program recruitment related processes Other Duties: This position description neither expresses nor implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the incumbent in this position. Requirements

  • Minimum of at least one-year recruitment experience required
  • Minimum three (3) years’ administrative experience.
  • Ability to create, manage and edit spreadsheets and various reports
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish goals and to problem solve.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Advanced computer competency in using databases and the ability to learn other software as needed.
  • Citizenship or work authorization to work in the United States required.
