About The Position

Heartspring is seeking an organized, motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team and gain hands-on experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, compliance, and benefits. Working alongside our HR Director and Talent Acquisition team, you'll help create an outstanding employee experience while learning every stage of the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
Organized and highly detail-oriented
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable learning new technology and HR systems
Passionate about helping people and creating a great employee experience
Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

Previous internship or administrative experience is a plus
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

Source and identify qualified candidates for open positions.
Assist with recruiting activities, candidate communication, interview coordination, and hiring events.
Support pre-employment and onboarding processes.
Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment data.
Help coordinate employee appreciation events and engagement initiatives.
Assist employees with routine HR questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
Support internal communications that strengthen workplace culture.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Assist with benefit administration and HR reporting.
Support payroll and HR processes as assigned.
Assist with employment law compliance and HR documentation.
Help maintain accurate HR files and reports.
Support audits and HR metrics.
Learn HR best practices while contributing to department initiatives.
