About The Position

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking undergraduate interns for our Human Resources department for Fall 2026, with a possible extension to Spring 2027. This internship will take place at our corporate headquarters in Fairfield, OH. Many departments at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio, offer hybrid work options, empowering interns and associates to work from home several days a week. Depending on your role and responsibilities, hybrid options may be available for those working at headquarters. Interns will participate in an introductory insurance class, engage with different departments to understand the corporate structure, interact with leadership and experienced associates, and participate in group and individual projects.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student at an accredited college/university (sophomore or above preferred)
  • All majors welcome (preferred human resources management, human capital management, organizational leadership, psychology, or similar major)
  • Collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable)
  • In good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred)
  • Must be able to work an average of 20 hours per week; Hybrid schedule eligible
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office tools and related software
  • Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
  • Candidates requiring sponsorship at any time in the future, including Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT), are not eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with business activities and processes
  • Learn and implement human resources practices
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings, presentations, events, and projects
  • Research emerging trends, data analysis, and evaluate options
  • Generate reports, promotional/educational materials, and other work products
  • Serve internal and external customers
