About The Position

Human Resources Intern Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to support our People Operations team. This role offers a unique blend of foundational administrative support and high-impact project management. You'll start by mastering day-to-day HR workflows and progress to leading a critical compliance initiative: migrating and auditing I-9 documentation during our transition to a new HR Information System (HRIS). Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred).
  • A high degree of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a "compliance-first" mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in or prior exposure to HRIS platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily HR operations, including maintaining digital personnel files, processing employment verifications, and managing routine administrative tasks.
  • Serve as the primary lead for I-9 collection and auditing. You will ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant with federal regulations, and successfully migrated to our new HRIS platform.
  • Help schedule interviews, correspond with candidates, and assist with onboarding logistics for new hires.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure consistency and accuracy across platforms.
  • Support the HR team with summer engagement initiatives and other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
