About The Position

The HR Intern will play a key role in supporting learning and development initiatives within the Human Resources function. This internship offers hands-on experience evaluating and enhancing our Learning Management System (LMS), including reviewing existing course offerings and identifying content that needs updating. The intern will research and recommend innovative new courses to add to the LMS, ensuring our catalog remains relevant and engaging. In addition, the intern will conduct research on career pathways and source courses to support individualized learning plans. The intern will also collaborate with the Director, Organization Development, to identify common development challenges and draft a digital learning series addressing them, fostering continuous growth across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual interested in learning practical HR and talent development skills. Pay Rate: $20 an hour | Monday - Friday | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Eager to learn, proactive, inquisitive, and able to contribute ideas for the improvement of learning programming.
  • Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student.
  • Interest in learning more about the Human Resources field and/or talent and organizational development.

Responsibilities

  • Support learning and development initiatives within the Human Resources function.
  • Evaluate and enhance the Learning Management System (LMS), including reviewing current course offerings and identifying content that requires updating.
  • Research and recommend innovative new courses to add to the LMS, ensuring the catalog remains relevant and engaging.
  • Conduct research into current approaches on career development in comparable organizations.
  • Investigate recent trends, strategies, and industry standards related to career progression in similar. environments to gain insights that can inform decision-making and best practices.
  • Source courses to support individualized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Organizational Development, to identify common development challenges and help draft a digital learning series to address them.
  • Contribute to fostering continuous growth across the organization.
  • Assume other related responsibilities and special projects as assigned in support of teams across the Human Resources Department.
