About The Position

Assist the Human Resources department the implementation and execution of various human resource functions.

Requirements

  • Professionalwritten communication skills
  • Strong interpersonaland verbalskills
  • Knowledge of basic Human Resources principles and concepts
  • Data entry skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (primarily Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Available for a minimum of25-30hours per week
  • Must be ableworksome nights and weekends.
  • Currently enrolled in a collegiate program.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Help distribute materials for internal/external communications including:
  • Seasonalemployee correspondence such as postcards and newsletters;
  • Recruitment materials;
  • Trainingmaterial;
  • Employee directories;
  • And othercollateral pieces asdesignated.
  • Assist with general HR duties and coordination of HR events including job fair, employee orientation and seasonal application center.
  • Maintain and track necessary employmentdocumentation;
  • File andmaintainrecords;
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation for both Full Time and Seasonal Staff
  • Aide candidates in completing applications and new hirepaperwork;
  • Attend recruitment fairs.
