About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Operations Business Partner is responsible for the daily operational support of the HR department, ensuring that HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service. This position serves as a primary point of contact for employees, assists with benefits administration, manages HR financial processes, maintains organized records and office operations, and provides direct support to the HR Manager. This is a hands-on, steady-paced position requiring a highly organized, detail-oriented HR professional with strong experience in HR administration and benefits administration. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of core HR processes, with particular emphasis on employee benefits, HRIS administration, records management, compliance support, and employee service. The role requires an organized, self-motivated professional who takes initiative, embraces accountability, and thrives in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate understands that every task contributes to the success of the department and approaches all responsibilities with professionalism, flexibility, and a positive attitude. This position is on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
  • Five years of progressively responsible HR experience.
  • Experience in multiple HR disciplines, such as benefits administration, HRIS, onboarding, recruiting, compliance, leave administration, and payroll coordination.
  • Experience processing invoices and coordinating payments.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Take initiative and communicate proactively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a multi-site organization is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (such as ADP Workforce Now) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, employment documentation, and general HR processes.
  • Provides exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Assists employees in completing or explaining required HR forms and paperwork.
  • Coordinates employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Maintains accurate employee files in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Ensures HR records are complete, organized, and audit ready.
  • Supports compliance with federal, state, and employment requirements.
  • Promotes and ensures compliance with Phoenix’s safety programs, quality management system (QMS), and company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Administers employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and other company-sponsored plans.
  • Manages benefit enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, terminations, and employee communications.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit questions and assist with issue resolution with carriers and vendors.
  • Maintains accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring timely updates and data integrity.
  • Provides direct administrative support to the HR Manager.
  • Prepares reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Assists in maintaining HR calendars and project timelines.
  • Follows up on outstanding tasks and deadlines.
  • Prioritizes multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines.
  • Support Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP) compliance.
