About The Position

Community Concierge Services, LLC (CCS) is seeking an HR Assistant to support the Human Resources and Recruitment functions of the business. This role is crucial for communicating important details to associates daily. The HR Assistant will oversee recruitment for part-time trash collection associates (Porters) and manage the onboarding process end-to-end for both full-time and part-time roles. Additionally, the role involves assisting with payroll system maintenance and implementation, and supporting other HR special projects. From a recruitment operations standpoint, the HR Assistant will manage the process of posting job ads in relevant markets and onboarding candidates into trained Porters. The system handles initial candidate qualification, ensuring candidates meet basic requirements such as living within a hiring radius and owning a pickup truck.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in Human Resources, Recruiting/recruiting coordination, staffing, inside sales, scheduling, customer service, or any role built on high-volume outreach and follow-through.
  • Strong, clear written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using a CRM or ATS as a source of truth.
  • Comfortable reading basic performance data in a job board dashboard.
  • Based in metro Charlotte, NC.
  • Able to be in the Charlotte, NC (South End) office at least 2-3 days per week.
  • Some evening/weekend availability on an as-needed basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar job board campaign management.
  • Multi-state or multi-market experience.
  • HR experience.
  • Hourly, part-time, or shift-based workforce experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Familiarity with Asana or a similar project tool.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment for part-time trash collection associates (Porters).
  • Manage the onboarding process end-to-end for both full-time and part-time roles.
  • Conduct onboarding calls with full-time hires.
  • Field and respond to daily email requests.
  • Address payroll questions.
  • Assist with payroll system implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Deploy job ads from approved regional templates, adjust spend and placement by market, and remove ads when a route is filled.
  • Monitor market performance for ad deployment and adjust budget accordingly.
  • Manage candidate queues, engage with pre-qualified candidates, and pitch suitable routes.
  • Initiate group texts to connect candidates with local training managers and log information in Asana.
  • Confirm training and first shifts have occurred, and flag any issues.
  • Ensure ads are live in the right markets and manage ad performance reporting.
  • Follow through on confirmations, Asana entries, and post-shift check-ins.
