About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This position is responsible for managing employee relations, facilitating training and development programs, and overseeing the administration of HR policies. The HR Generalist will work closely with management to address employee concerns and promote a culture of engagement and productivity. Additionally, this role involves utilizing ADP HR systems to ensure that all employee data is accurate and up-to-date. Ultimately, the HR Generalist contributes to the overall success of the organization by supporting its most valuable asset—its people.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a human resources role, with a focus on employee relations and training.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Experience with ADP HR software or similar HR management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR policies.
  • Experience managing leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and Workers’ Compensation.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, wage and hour regulations, and QSR industry labor standards.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Administer HR processes using ADP HR systems, and helping the field with any issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
