Job Overview: The human resources generalist position is responsible for the following: Performing routine HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, file maintenance, and responding to and addressing employee matters Assisting in DOT compliance functions including drug screens Working with other HR staff The candidate must possess a sound knowledge of basic human resources and employment law, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
