The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at building strong relationships across all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates, collaborating with departmental managers to identify required skills and competencies for open positions. Conduct and verify background checks and employee eligibility. Implement and manage new hire orientation programs to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Help administer HR programs such as benefits, leave management, training, and employee recognition programs. Assist with responding to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex matters as needed. Provide support during employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations. Track and document compliance with required training, certifications, and assessments, including safety and anti-harassment programs. Stay updated on HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to continuously improve processes and practices. Assist with reviewing and refining HR policies and practices to support organizational goals. Maintain accurate employee records and support HR reporting requirements. Perform other related responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in employment law, recruitment, organizational development, employee engagement, and overall Human Resources functions.
Ability to interface with Human Resources staff and various levels of staff within the organization.
Knowledge of applicant tracking (ATS) and HRIS systems.
Highly motivated to take ownership of challenging assignments as well as routine tasks.
Must be extremely proactive with all staff involved in the hiring process.
Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Outgoing individual, who thrives on making connections and creating relationships.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
Experience within the A/E industry or related professional services firm is a plus.
